If you want to be the true WINNER for Back to School shopping, and save the most money possible, I would suggest buying some back to school supplies at Wal-Mart and some back to school supplies at Target to get the lowest prices. I also just heard that Staples has back to school supplies for 1 Cent! These sales are on the weekends and each weekend there are different school supplies for One Penny. You may need a teacher rewards card to get this amazing discount.

If you have your sale paper, Target will match prices. I had Target match the price at Staples for their $1.00 post it notes. I was very upset that Staples changed their policy regarding the 1 cent sale so I didn't want to give them any of my money. I saved $2.00 a pack at Target using the Staples ad. I am usually not a Wal-mart shopper.
Now is the time to stock up on educational supplies. As a parent and teacher, I always buy as many items as I can at this time of year. I have started purchasing some things online at www.k12schoolsupplies.com.
These mega-retailers put immense pressure on manufacturers to lower costs, leading to factories in places like China employing children and providing non-living wages. It might cost you a dollar more than the $38 you paid, but shop independent at some place like EducationalWarehouse.com or a2zteachersoutlet.com - you'll be helping make the world a better place.
Price-matching, don't forget about that.. I love back to school time of the year. So much savings.. :)

I usually go to Target since this isn't a Wal-Mart near me to get supplies for my classroom, but they don't have everything I need to decorate my classroom. I decided to order everything online this year since many places offer free shipping and low price matching. I ordered from www.SchoolSupplyGiant.com and got everything I needed in 3 days.
